Ropewalk Rocks Finalists Announced!
Ropewalk Rocks auditions took place on Saturday (22 October) at Ropewalk Shopping Centre in Nuneaton, and the judging panel was blown away by the level of talent in the competition.
Twenty-five acts took to the stage over two hours to battle it out to become Nuneaton's next singing sensation. Crowds witnessed a mixture of solo artists and bands, both children and adults, performing in a bid to become the region's next big thing and win the grand prize of £250 cash, as well as the opportunity to record a song of their choice and have it played on Touch FM.

It's time to face the music! Ropewalk is on the hunt for a Nuneaton Singing Sensation...
Ropewalk Shopping Centre is excited to announce the launch of the inaugural ‘Ropewalk Rocks'; Nuneaton's very own singing competition. It is inviting everyone from children and adults, to soloists and groups, to audition for the chance to become the region's next big thing.

as well as the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to record a song of their choice and then have it played on Touch FM.
Kelly and Tulisa watch out; a glamorous panel, made up of a mystery former X Factor finalist, Nuneaton's Carnival Queen Karla Fitzpatrick and representatives from renowned fashion retailers, are hunting for a musical act who they believe has real star quality.

Auditions will take place on Saturday 22 October 2011 at the Ropewalk Shopping Centre, in Nuneaton.

Successful contestants will then go through to the grand finale and perform in the ultimate showdown on Saturday 5 November 2011.

Those who fancy their chances of becoming the next Leona Lewis or One Direction should enter via Ropewalk's Facebook page, www.facebook.com/RopewalkNuneaton.

To enter, wannabes should ‘like' the page and comment on Ropewalk's wall, expressing their interest in taking part in the competition. A representative from Ropewalk Shopping Centre will then get in touch to finalise details.
